Wild Smiles is a cruelty-free children’s toothpaste brand I developed
for my package design class. The branding focuses on playful and dynamic illustrations to engage both the parents and kids, encouraging them to keep up with their oral hygiene! When branding toothpaste for kids, I want to appeal to both the parent and the child to increase the marketability of the product; children are drawn
to things that are visually exciting, and parents will see what their
kids pick up.

I wanted to create a brand mascot of an animal or some sort of pop culture character. After some sketching, I decided that a tiger would
be the most universally recognized and friendliest face for the brand.
